The northern area of the country has four seasons and the temperature range is significantly larger. During winter, which lasts from December to February, the average night temperatures are about 4°C, while the maximum daytime temperatures normally don’t jump above 20°C. Summertime lasts from June to August and it can be pretty hot and humid with temperatures rising up to 30°C.
